This study investigates the impact of street lighting installation as a strategic solution to enhance security and comfort in crime-prone areas around sports centers (GOR). The main objectives of the research were to assess the effect of improved street lighting on crime reduction and public safety, particularly during nighttime. The research employed a combination of field surveys, direct observations, and interviews with local residents. The results revealed a significant reduction in criminal activities in the areas with newly installed lighting, improving residents' perceptions of safety and encouraging increased nighttime mobility. The installation of LED streetlights in areas with poor lighting demonstrated a clear deterrent effect on crime and contributed to a heightened sense of public security. The study concludes that adequate street lighting, along with community participation in planning and implementation, can effectively reduce crime rates and foster a safer, more comfortable environment for local residents. The research suggests further expansion of this initiative to other urban areas and advocates for the integration of energy-efficient technologies in future lighting projects.
