Conflict of Interest Policy

Statements regarding conflicts of interest must be disclosed transparently in accordance with author disclosure standards. Authors are required to disclose any financial or personal relationships that could potentially create bias or partiality in their manuscript.

Sources of funding for the research must be specifically detailed, including the role of the funding entity. If the funding body (sponsor) played no such role, the authors must explicitly state this. Authors must also guarantee that they had full access to all research data and that the sponsors did not interfere with data processing or manuscript preparation.

If no such conditions exist, authors may include the following statement:
"The authors declare no conflict of interest."
